I think she’s glad Wren caught on so quickly. Unfortunately she doesn’t seem to realize at that point just how horrifying he finds it. . . Which frankly, shows to me she doesn’t really know Wren all that well, despite all the time she’s spent with him.
Basically, Lohaun fails Substitute Mom Class, because she didn’t know she was even enrolled.
