The aliens’ entire plan was to create a creature that has Winter’s knowledge and Wren’s lack of Yoda speak.
The knowledge they’ve already gained from Winter has propelled their technology forward, but so much has been lost in translation… including an entire new fleet of ships that was lost due to Winter’s instruction, “Hyperspace, jump to…… after inertial dampers, enable.”
